A Study on the Reactions Differences of ¡®Person in the rain¡¯ Drawing between Children from the General Families and Those from the Multi-cultural

Abstract
This study is to examine the Reactional Difference at the PITR(Person In The Rain) test regarding the stress and stress coping resources of children from the general families and those from the multi-cultural. The object of this study is 142 students from 4,5,6 grade. They are located in rural areas economically vulnerable and a lot of multi-cultural families. They are 4,5,6 grade of 3 elementary schools, 3 district children¡¯s centers, 3 multi-culture support centers, from Gyeonggi?do, P eup, and Chungbuk C gun, O gun. it was used 100 copies of drawing(general family 50 children, multi-culture family children 50) excluding 42 copies of drawing not suitable for the test out of 142 pictures of students from 4,5,6th grade. it was used the PITR test adapted by Soun Mu Kyung(2004), referred scoring standard by Kim Soon Ran(2004), Lee Mi Kyung(2006), and structured with 3 point scale by Gang Hyun Jung. Data was processed by SPSS WIN 18.0 program and t-test. The result of study on the basis of the purpose of this study is as follows; First, in the PITR test regarding children¡¯s stress of general & multi culture family, children of general family indicate statistically significant high stress points. Second, in the PITR test regarding children¡¯s stress coping resource of general & multi culture family, children of general family indicated statistically significant high stress resource coping points.
